Marc-Alan Barnette's 79th annual birthday bash. Lot's of good stuff going on this night. Their were several great new (well, new for me) writers this evening and I enjoyed them all. The featured performers tonight were "Volcano of Soul". This group includes Marc-Alan Barnette, Jimbeau Hinson, Vicki Carrico, Dana McVicker and Jay Verne. Each of these people are fantastic singer / songwriters on their own, but when you get them together you are in for a real treat. And for a change I actually got a couple of shots of Jay. He's usually hidden on the back of the stage somewhere, but tonight there wasn't enough room on the stage so he was right out front on the floor for all the world to see.
